🎵 About CC Trubiak

"Music saved my life — and now I sing to save others."

CC Trubiak is a Canadian country-folk singer-songwriter whose honest lyrics and heartfelt melodies have touched audiences across the country. Born and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba, CC’s journey has been anything but ordinary — shaped by personal adversity, resilience, and a deep belief in the healing power of music.

From singing before he could walk to independently releasing multiple albums — including They Say I’m Different (2011), Tiny Army: The D. Holmes Sessions (2013), and McBain (2018) — CC has always used music as a way to tell his story and connect with others. His songs, often autobiographical, explore love, identity, struggle, and strength with a rare vulnerability that resonates deeply with listeners.

CC’s musical influences range from classic honky-tonk and folk legends to his own life experiences. He’s been recognized by CBC Searchlight, featured in countless newspaper interviews, and selected for the Manitoba Music Emerging Artists Showcase, where he proudly represented northern Manitoba.

But beyond the stage and spotlight, CC is also a dedicated social worker — proving that compassion is not just a theme in his music, but a foundation of who he is. Whether counseling others or performing on stage, his mission remains the same: to uplift, empower, and remind people of their inner resilience.

Today, CC continues to write, perform, and share his journey through music, photography, and storytelling — always staying true to his roots while reaching for new horizons.
