👋 Meet the Artist
Hello, I'm CC Trubiak – a musician, songwriter, and independent artist born and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Since 2009, I’ve been writing, recording, and releasing music on my own terms. With the support of my community, I released my debut album, They Say I’m Different in 2011, followed by Tiny Army in 2013. Both were transformative, personal journeys.
Now, I’m thrilled to share my third studio album: McBain.

McBain is more than just a record—it's a reflection of my return to my roots in Flin Flon after twelve years in Ottawa. Since coming home, I’ve been inspired by my surroundings and the amazing local artists here. This album captures the essence of that journey.
Recording is currently underway, and this project was made possible through the generous backing of fans, friends, and family.

To bring McBain to life, I launched a crowdfunding campaign with a goal of CA$8,500. These funds went directly toward:

🌱 A Full Circle Story
This album began with a spark reignited—a return to my hometown led to a deeper connection with community, creativity, and self-expression.

Working with local musicians, playing at venues like Johnny’s Social Club, and finding beauty in the remoteness of Northern Manitoba have all shaped McBain. The songs are raw, personal, and speak to my deepest truths.
🧠 Why I Create
As a child, I often struggled with anxiety and self-confidence. Music became the bridge between my inner world and the outside one. Over the years, I’ve learned that fear, doubt, and vulnerability are part of the process. The stage became my safe space.
