BIO & HIGHLIGHTS
CC Trubiak is a self-taught Canadian singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, country, and acoustic sincerity, shaped by the vast landscapes and close-knit communities of Northern Manitoba. Originally beginning his songwriting and independent recording journey in Ottawa in 2010, Trubiak later returned to his home province, where he has spent more than a decade performing both as a solo artist and as a member of several long-standing regional bands.
A registered SOCAN member and active member of the Canadian Country Music Association, Trubiak has released three independent albums that reflect his commitment to honest songwriting and emotionally grounded storytelling. His work has earned recognition both provincially and nationally, including being named a Manitoba Emerging Artist and reaching the Top 5 in the CBC Searchlight Contest with his song Raven. His recent single Outlaws Meditation entered the Top 40 of the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, further highlighting his growing presence in the independent country music scene.
Currently, Trubiak is completing his fourth independent album (Jukebox In Exile), inspired by the 2025 wildfire evacuation that deeply affected Flin Flon and surrounding northern communities. The project explores themes of resilience, displacement, reflection, and the emotional landscape of a defining moment in the region’s history.
