Jukebox In Exile
Out June 5
A new album by C.C. Trubiak
A collection of stories shaped by memory, distance,
and the spirit of old country music.

Behind The Scenes —
From March 16–24, Trevor, Erick, and C.C. Trubiak independently recorded nearly 90% of the upcoming album “Jukebox In Exile,” building the heart of the project piece by piece through acoustic guitar, vocals, harmonies, guitar, bass, and mandolin.
As the sessions progressed, a few songs began calling out for pedal steel guitar — an instrument deeply connected to the emotional atmosphere of classic country music.
Winnipeg musician Dann Russell was brought into the project, recording pedal steel parts remotely from his upholstery shop while producer Trevor was already travelling back to British Columbia.
The result added a whole new emotional depth to the record, helping shape songs like the upcoming single “Being Rich” into the world they were meant to live in.
